THOR documentation¶
This is the documentation for THOR package in version 2026.154#ea52ea4, the automated seismic event locator by waveform coherence analysis. THOR is a seismic event localization tool that performs a 3D grid search, calculating travel times to seismic stations. Based on the calculated travel time, THOR cuts waveform time windows and generates a characteristic function for stacking. This function can be customized through plugins, with default options including STALTA traces or deep learning confidence curves applying PHASENET standard models. THOR supports multithreaded processing for enhanced performance and precision.
