Introduction
============

`gsm` is a software package manager allowing you to install and update SeisComP as well
as all gempa packages from a configured remote repository linked to your private account
or a public access point.
This documentation describes the application of the gempa software manager
(`gsm`) starting with the installation and setup of `gsm` itself followed by in-depth
explanations of the commands and workflows..

   Currently, `gsm` does not support database migration. However, it informs you
   whenever a migration is required.
